Ed Sharrer, Executive Director, brings a wealth of experience in historic preservation, city planning, marketing and promotions to Kendall Whittier Main Street. Most recently a city planner with the City of Tulsa, he served as the co-lead planner for the update of the City of Tulsa Zoning Code, project manager for the Utica Midtown (North) small area plan, and project manager for the Mayor’s Institute on City Design Technical Institute. An award-winning web designer before entering the planning field, Sharrer staffed the Tulsa Preservation Commission for five years, working with hundreds of homeowners on historic rehab projects. His specialties include public speaking, event coordination, online marketing, and social media. He has a Bachelor’s in Marketing from The University of Tulsa and a Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma Urban Design Studio.
